Reflection for October 10
So everything points toward the Lord’s wanting us to make our own decisions and even our own mistakes, rather than ask him what to do. Learning from Solomon, we need to see that when we’re faced with tough decisions, what we need to pray for is not how to discern the Lord’s will for our lives, but how to discern good from bad. For we already know the Lord’s will for our lives: he wants us to learn how to discern good from bad...
