Reflection for December 6

Advent is a time of invitation.

These invitations are both spiritual and literal. Advent is an invitation into the life of Jesus Christ. We are invited to be present with a history of Christians awaiting Jesus's first coming, as well as His second. We are invited to be present with each other, reflecting on who we are as a faith in anticipation of the new liturgical year.
