New Office Manager: Diane Pugh
As announced at the annual meeting Tracie Moxley is leaving the position of Office Manager to work with her husband Mark in his business, Lake Street Supply. Her last day in the office is February 12. Please welcome our new office manager, Diane Pugh, who lives with her husband, Ralph, and her son, Daniel, in Homewood. She formerly worked as the Preservation Manager for the American Theological Library Association, based in downtown Chicago. She feels God has led her here, and is excited to begin using her skills and strengths for the benefit of the parish.
Don’t Forget the Fish Fry
The annual Lenten fish fry is coming Friday, March 18.
The Great Litany
Sunday’s worship services will begin with the Great Litany. Published in English in 1544 (before the first English Book of Common Prayer was published in 1549), it was constructed by Thomas Cranmer, then Archbishop of Canterbury, at the request of Henry VIII. Ideally, it is said or sung in procession and is particularly appropriate for penitential occasions.
