Grande Prairie Singers present a bluegrass concert
at 4 pm, Sunday, May 20, at Freedom Hall in Park Forest. Down-home music

This Sunday
Think red! Red in what you wear and what you share.
This Sunday, May 20th, is the Day of Pentecost when we joyfully remember the
descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles. Don't forget to wear red, the
Pentecost color. To add to the festivities, we'll have a red snack day at
coffee hour. Please bring in some red finger food to share. Homemade or
store-bought, fancy or simple, let's celebrate!

Picnic
This year, our annual
Picnic & Garden Planting, which will include a celebration of our
Confirmands, will take place after the 10:00 a.m. service on Sunday, June 3rd.
Everyone is invited for food and refreshments, socialization, and to take part
in planting the parish garden. Everything grown in the garden will be donated
to Rich Township’s Food Pantry.
